FOCUS ON EUROPE
- Our business so far has primarily been with large multi-nationals headquartered in the US. Being global in nature, we service their operations worldwide including UK, EMEA & APAC.
- Europe accounts for almost 40% of the worldwide market we address.
- Also, ours is a capital intensive industry where the Return on Capital Employed can be dramatically improved by operating our centers round-the-clock. The time difference between US and Europe offers an opportunity to run our centers an additional 5-8 hours a day and thus helps improve the ROCE.
- Europe, particularly UK and Germany, are strong outsourcing-driven countries particularly in the BFSI and Retail markets. Large back-office business process outsourcing opportunities exist there. With our global footprint for service delivery and our demonstrated capabilities, we are well equipped to address this market.
- We have, therefore, taken a strategic decision to set up a European team starting with the UK (where we have a natural advantage with English) and then quickly ramp it up in other parts of Europe once our service delivery center is up and running in Central Europe.
- While we would develop customized service offerings best suited for the markets there, we intend to initially launch the operations leveraging the services that we have. Our prime focus will be to address Banking and Financial Services, Insurance, Telecommunications and Retail markets.
